Dr. Tigga Kingston, Malaysian Bat Conservation Expert

On a crisp fall day in October, Dr. Tigga Kingston traveled from Boston University, where she works when she's not in Malaysia, to Halifax Elementary School.

Dr. Kingston shared with us her PowerPoint presentation, which was filled with interesting facts about bats and Malaysian culture. Did you know that there are 1,111 species of bats in the world, with 118 species right in Malaysia? To find out more, click the PowerPoint link. It may take a minute to download because the pictures are so amazing and abundant, but it's worth it.
